Ezwim takes important step to prevent “bill shock”

A while ago we spoke to a man who was very upset by the amount on his mobile phone bill. He couldn’t imagine that just a vacation in France would lead to such huge expenses. After some investigation, it turned out that his children downloaded movies; costs € 3000,-. Their pocket money has been put on hold until 2036. However, this shock was nothing compared to another true example in which an employee went to Nigeria for his work and consumed a few Gig of data. That invoice was € 30.000,-! And when the bill comes in, it is always too late!

Ezwim today has an important new development that prevents these “Bill Shocks”: Ezwim Real-Time Alerting

What is Real-Time Alerting?
We load daily feeds from carrier portals into our application. This triggers pre-defined alerts. You may want to get an alert when a user consumes more than 300 MB worth of data roaming, for example, or you might want to know that a user has incurred more than € 250,- voice roaming cost or you might want to be informed about excessive service call charges.
You can determine yourself which alerts should be triggered at which threshold and who must be alerted. Since you want to avoid bill shocks, you can set pro-active alerts. Both end-user and telecom manager are notified before costs can get astronomical.
